In a Forbes magazine article written by Mary Abbajay,  titled "Mentoring Matters: Three Essentials to Success"  it stated, "Organizations that embrace mentoring are rewarded with higher levels of employee engagement, retention, and knowledge sharing.  In fact, mentoring has proved so beneficial that 71% of Fortune 500 companies offer mentoring programs to their employees."

We all realize the importance of mentorship, but for the underprivileged, they rarely get the opportunity to have someone model their path to success.  In our organization, recipients will receive several touches of various professionals all designed to encourage, teach and transform the lives of the young and mature women we mentor.

 

Our mentees will become part of a sisterhood where everyone is treated as equals.  They will attend workshops, giving them the core values that they need to develop the skills sets that are taught over the course of an entire year.

 

It takes time to renew the mind and train the body, but we have seen the results.  They will learn to see themselves differently and given the tools needed to change their lives and communities.  Our team of professionals will work with our mentees to help them achieve their goals.
