Melissa Hartman

Melissa is a National Academy of Sports Medicine-certified corrective exercise specialist, an exercise physiologist certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, and a licensed athletic trainer. She earned her Masters' degree in Exercise Science from the University of Georgia and the University of North Florida.

She started her career as an athletic trainer working as a graduate assistant with the University of Georgia volleyball team, and then working in high schools. Life takes turns and she ended up in Florida and got a job as a personal trainer. From there she got a job at the University of North Florida teaching in the Exercise Science program. That position led to her to Keiser University teaching in the Exercise and Sport Science program. Currently, she is a personal trainer and wellness coach at Momentum and teaches group fitness and trains clients virtually.

Her passion is to help all people on their personal fitness journey, regardless of background and ability. Melissa is a child of God, a wife of 27 years to Tony, and a mother to 3 great girls, and one puppy.

She has held many positions throughout her retail career from sales associate, beauty advisor, cosmetics manager, cosmetics department manager and store manager positions.
